This policy explains how Soldek processes personal data when you use our website and the Soldek MGA software platform. We act as a data processor for the underwriting and policy data our customers (MGAs and coverholders) manage in the platform, and as a data controller for the account and website data we collect directly.
Data we process
Account data (name, work email, organisation and role), product usage and security logs, and any business records you enter into the platform such as clients, policies, claims and bordereaux. We do not sell personal data.
How we use data
To provide and secure the platform, deliver support, send transactional emails (quotes, policies, invoices and notifications), and improve the product. Customer underwriting data is processed only on the instructions of the customer that controls it.
Storage and security
Data is hosted in the EU, encrypted in transit and at rest, and isolated per tenant. Access is controlled by role, and changes are recorded in an audit trail.
Your rights (GDPR)
You may request access, correction, deletion or export of your personal data, and object to certain processing. For data held within a customer’s workspace, please contact that organisation, which acts as the controller.
Retention
We retain account and business data for as long as your agreement is active and as required to meet legal and regulatory obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
